Hospitality and Hosting are the receiving of a guest into a house and providing food. Amulek invited Alma, “go with me into my house and I will impart unto thee of my food,” and received him into his house (Alma 8:20).
Amulek “brought forth bread and meat and set before Alma” after Alma entered his house (Alma 8:21). An angel told Amulek to return home because he would “feed a prophet of the Lord,” who had fasted many days and was hungry (Alma 10:7).
Amulek obeyed the angel and found Alma, the man whom he was told to receive into his house (Alma 10:8).
