Lamoni's Sepulchre

Lamoni’s Sepulchre is a sepulchre made for “the purpose of burying their dead.” After Lamoni had lain on his bed for two days and two nights, people were about to take his body there (Alma 19:1-5).

Some said that Lamoni was dead and “ought to be placed in the sepulchre,” while others said that he was not dead. The queen said of her husband, “to me he doth not stink” (Alma 19:5).
