Gadianton-Siege Provisions are the food supplies and livestock the Nephites reserved while the robbers could not plunder for food except by open battle. The Nephites were “in one body” and had reserved provisions for themselves (3 Nephi 4:4).
The Nephites reserved “horses and cattle, and flocks of every kind” so that they could subsist for seven years. They hoped during that time to destroy the robbers from off the face of the land, and the eighteenth year passed away (3 Nephi 4:4).
