Daytime Heat

Daytime Heat is the heat of the day that contributed to the fatigue of Amalickiah’s camp. At night, Teancum and his servant entered the camp after sleep had overpowered its occupants because of “the labors and heat of the day” (Alma 51:33).

Teancum and his men had pitched their tents in the borders of Bountiful, while Amalickiah pitched his tents by the seashore after fighting continued “until it was dark” (Alma 51:32).
