Once again, Moroni explains that hope looks to the post-mortal life, specifically to our perfection in Yahweh-Messiah, which will be achieved only after this life. To accomplish this perfection and to receive the blessings that will come through it, we must accept Jesus Christ, the Atoning Messiah. Moroni concludes by defining the purpose of the entire text that his father had created and the whole of his own interest in preserving and delivering that text. The Book of Mormon is truly another witness for Christ—not to his reality, but to his divinity.
