Mormon uses even stronger language here to declare that little children are “alive in Christ”; not only are they without sin, but they are spiritually attuned and receptive to Christ. Mormon also opines that a God who condemns small children just because they had not been baptized would be a “partial” and “changeable” God, because so many babies and little children die without benefit of baptism.
