“How is It That You Can Attain Unto Faith, Save Ye Shall Have Hope? If a Man Have Faith He Must Needs Have Hope; for Without Faith There Cannot Be Any Hope”

Ed J. Pinegar, Richard J. Allen

Faith and hope work together as one. Let us remember, hope begets faith and faith enhances hope—they work in unison so that eventually a person of faith and hope is filled with charity. The essence of the gospel is to cultivate faith in the Lord Jesus Christ—through whose atoning sacrifice and mercy we can be sustained in our hope for salvation—and then to confirm this hope through our own works of covenant righteousness.
