“After They Had Been Received Unto Baptism”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet

From these verses we see the practice of the Church after men and women are baptized. They meet together often to “teach one another the doctrine of the kingdom” (see D&C 88:77) and to fellowship and strengthen one another through “all [their] conversation, in all [their] prayers, in all [their] exhortations, and in all [their] doings” (see D&C 108:7). This spiritual fellowshipping and nurturing of one another is an essential part of the perfection of the Saints.“ All meetings and activities and practices of the Church should be designed to spiritually nourish the Saints and keep them in the ”right way.“”
