The conditions for baptism do not change from one age to another. Moroni recorded that to be baptized a person must—- Bring forth fruit meet for repentance (see Moroni 6:1).
- Have “a broken heart and a contrite spirit” (v. 2).
- Witness before the Church true repentance of all sins (see v. 2).
- Accept the name of Christ and “serve him to the end” (v. 3).
