“I Make Weak Things Become Strong”

George Reynolds, Janne M. Sjodahl

A promise that has singularly been fulfilled in the mission fields of the Church. Every sincere missionary of the Latter-day Saints can testify to that. The Book of Mormon, itself, is a witness of the irresistible power of truth. From the early days of Mormonism till the present time, converts have been raised up by hearing the humble testimonies concerning the divine origin of that record.

Then, is it not a truth in everyone's experience that the Lord magnifies the worthy man in whatsoever position he may occupy? The weak are made strong, and the strong become stronger. This is probably true in part because the truths of Christ's Gospel need no studied or strong defense, and it should be remembered that the utmost strength of man, when compared to God's, is absolute weakness, and his wisdom but foolishness.
