The most amazing example of faith was demonstrated by those who were able to penetrate the veil with their spiritual eyes and see the Savior even before his coming in the flesh. The first of these was the brother of Jared who was able to see the finger of the Lord when he touched the stones. Jesus told the brother of Jared that since he had seen the Savior's finger without being quickened, the brother of Jared would be able to see all things in the spirit world.
