Moroni says it was the manifest faith of Alma and Amulek that caused the prison to fall and kill all of the leaders of the city of Ammonihah so that only Alma and Amulek were able to come forth from wreckage alive. He said that it was this same kind of faith that allowed Nephi and Lehi, the sons of Helaman, to convert the Lamanites by the thousands, to baptize them and have the fire of the Holy Ghost rest upon them even though they did not know what it was. This was also true of the amazing conversion of the Lamanites by Ammon and his brethren. In fact, Moroni says all miracles were the result of faith both before the coming of Christ and after.
