Moroni emphasizes that the gospel always requires a demonstration of faith before the people are allowed to enjoy the fruits of the gospel. This kind of faith was also true of those who wanted to hold the priesthood and be ordained after the holy order of God. It was true of those who wanted to have the law of Moses revealed. Moroni said that unless the fruits of this great faith becomes evident, God can do no miracle among them. The faith must be shown forth first.
