“Because Thou Knowest These Things”

George Reynolds, Janne M. Sjodahl

When Moriancumer had solemnly confessed his implicit faith in the Divine Word, he was granted the favor he desired. And not only that, but the entire Plan of Salvation was explained to him.

Because thou knowest these things. The importance of knowledge is here shown in redemption from the Fall; in the return to the Divine Presence, and divine manifestations. This is in accord with modern revelations. "The glory of God is intelligence, or, in other words, light and truth" (D. and C. 93:53; See also 131:6 and 136:32).
