The brother of Jared prepares sixteen crystalline stones and asks the Lord to touch them so that they will give off light within the vessels. Because of his exceeding faith, the brother of Jared beholds the finger of the Lord and is subsequently shown His full spirit body. “Because thou knowest these things ye are redeemed from the fall; therefore ye are brought back into my presence” (verse 13). The brother of Jared is then shown the inhabitants of the world. He is commanded to write these things down and seal the record, along with the two seer stones for interpreting the language, until the Lord sees fit to bring these words forth unto the children of men.
