To deny that these Gifts of the Spirit do exist in the Church of Christ, is to admit that we are destitute of understanding, and that even if we have read the Scriptures we do not apprehend their meaning. That statement, Moroni wrote for us as well as to the Remnant of his brethren. He saw a further decline in belief in Christ, and God Who doeth all things according to men's faith, offers these Gifts only to those whose faith is evidenced by their keeping His commandments. It is well to remember that by our actions, we prove our belief in the truth of the things we proclaim.
