Does the Book of Mormon claim to be a perfect, flawless record? No. It is a sacred compilation prepared under the direction of the Lord Jesus Christ himself, but he used mortal men in all their weakness to accomplish it. Those who do not belittle and discredit this holy record but instead accept it and try to live by it have the promise of meriting even “greater things than these.” See also Mormon 9:31–33.
