Mormon ends this chapter with a warning and an exhortation to the Gentiles. In order for them to be the instrument in the hands of the Lord to bring forth this record to the remnant of Lehi’s seed, they must repent and turn to the Lord. The objectives of the Book of Mormon and of the latter-day work of gathering and spreading the message of the Restoration can only be realized upon principles of righteousness.
