Amos, son of Amos, completes his ministry. He has received charge of the records around AD 194. He traces the decline of the spiritual character of the people for several generations, having kept the records until the time of his death, around AD 305. Note that his tenure lasts well over a century before he turns the records over to his brother Ammaron. As such, he is surely the longest-standing of all the record keepers of the Book of Mormon.
