“The fact that the Three Nephites appeared to the prophet Mormon as well as to his son Moroni illustrates that translated beings ‘can show themselves unto whatsoever man it seemeth them good,’ especially to the prophets (see 3 Nephi 28:24–26; Mormon 8:10–11).
