The source of eternal joy is the salvation of God’s children. The people taught by the resurrected Lord are all rescued. His joy is full. When we are righteous, the Father and the Son rejoice, for it is Their purpose to bring about our immortality and eternal life. Our work is the same: to pray for strength and guidance in living the commandments so that we can be instruments in the fulfillment of precisely the same mission.
