Jesus told the Nephites that once the New Jerusalem is built with its beautiful temple, and its magnificent assembly of administrative structures, the Lord will begin gathering together all of the scattered children of Israel. The lost tribes will make their appearance and come to the temple in New Jerusalem to receive their priesthood blessings from the hands of Ephraim. This is described in Doctrine and Covenants 133:26-32.
