Another prophecy with dual fulfillment: Jesus Christ and Joseph Smith were both marred at the hands of wicked men (3 Nephi 21:8–11; D&C 135:1–3).
The word sprinkle in 3 Nephi 20:45 was changed to gather by the Prophet Joseph in his translation of the Bible (Isaiah 52:15, footnote a, from JST, Isaiah 52:15). The high-minded leaders of men will be astonished, and speechless, when they finally recognize and acknowledge the glorious work of the Savior of the world and the Prophet of the Restoration (see also 3 Nephi 21:8).
