The Lord reiterates the promise of the covenant. Even though the fulfillment is delayed, it is still coming. The promise will be kept. The Savior also clarifies some more information on the New Jerusalem. Even though it has been promised to “this land,” that will not mean that the promise of the old Jerusalem will be void. That land will also be a covenant home of the House of Israel.
