This is one of our best descriptions of mighty prayer: without ceasing—determined to keep praying until Heaven responded. As Joseph Smith taught, “Come to God [and] weary him until he blesses you”—not multiplying many words, being inspired what to pray, and being filled with desire.63 Indeed, the purest prayers are those in which the Spirit reveals to the petitioner the actual words that should be used (D&C 50:29–30).
