Here the Savior refers to disputes “among you.” Their subjects or timing is not indicated; but since the sacrament had just been instituted, it must have involved the larger issue of inclusion or exclusion from the community of believers. That issue could have been one of the Nephite problems leading to the dissolution of the government (3 Ne. 7:9–14), or it may have been within the last year, caused by the presence of Lamanites in this Nephite community.
