In this section, the Savior explains to the twelve that the Gentiles will lose “the fulness of my gospel” because they “shall sin against my gospel.” This is important knowledge for these men who represent the house of Israel. Although the message is sad, its true point is hope. The Father wants them to understand Israel’s ultimate redemption. After Yahweh takes the fulness of the gospel from the Gentiles, it will again become the rightful inheritance of the house of Israel.
