Jesus said that if the Gentiles rebel after all God has done for them and they sin against the gospel because of their pride and prosperity, then Jesus said the Father would withdraw his blessings from them. In this next verse the Lord itemizes the sins of the Gentiles which will cause them to lose their blessings unless they repent. Notice that this verse begins as though the Gentiles will actually commit all of these sins, and in chapter 21 Jesus describes the desolating destruction that will take place in America if the sinful abominations of the Gentiles are allowed to run their course.
