The Savior brought up the subject of the lost ten tribes in the last chapter and then refers to them briefly in this chapter. He says:
It is interesting that the Savior had never visited the lost tribes nor had they heard his voice. He also hints that they are establish in some distant land. In the next chapter Brigham Young will give some indication of where they are located. It is interesting that Jesus commanded the Nephites to write down what he had told them about the Savior's other sheep just in case his disciples in Jerusalem never got around to seeking a revelation concerning them.
