In the experience of a disciple of the Master, the question may at times arise as to what his duties are to his fellow men. The Golden Rule is the infallible answer to that question: "All things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them. For this," the Lord says, "is the law and the prophets." And, perhaps, we may reverently add, the Gospel, tool! For this rule embodies the entire moral code of the Gospel of Christ and the Kingdom of God, equally binding upon nations and associations, as in individuals.
In Tobit 4:15, we read, "Do that to no man, which thou hatest"; but the precept, as delivered by the Savior, enjoins us not only to avoid harming our brother, but to do that which benefits him.
