There are differences between the Nephi and Matthew versions of this prayer. Among the Nephites, the Savior leaves out two phrases, Thy kingdom come…and Give us this day our daily bread. The reason for these two omissions is not clear. The student who has identified the differences should be complemented for his or her perceptiveness but most explanations are speculative at best.
