“The Holy Ghost Will Bear Record Unto Him of the Father and Me”
The Holy Ghost is “God the third, the witness or Testator” (Teachings, p. 190). While there are numerous functions and spiritual blessings of the Holy Ghost, the primary mission of that member of the Godhead is to bear witness of the Father and the Son and to teach and testify of their plan of salvation (see Moses 7:5-7; D&C 20:27; D&C 42:17).
