For 2,500 people to exercise this privilege would have taken a long time. If each one of them took only five seconds to approach the Savior, feel the various wounds and retire, it would have taken a full minute to accommodate 12 people, and a full hour to accommodate 720. For 2,500 to have this thrilling experience would have required close to four or five hours. But from the point of view of the Savior it was all worthwhile. These were his first witnesses in America and the last ones to have such an intimate opportunity to come as a group to touch his resurrected body and feel his wounds.
