The One who caused all the cleansing damage then announced who he is. There can be no mistaking who he is: “I am Jesus Christ the Son of God. I created the heavens and the earth, and all things that in them are.” The Creator of the world is the Son of the Father in heaven. He is the Redeemer. The law of Moses is fulfilled in him. He is the One who originally gave the law; in fact, he is the law (3 Nephi 15:4–9). He exclaimed, “I am the light and the life of the world” and “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.” He was crucified and then resurrected.
