“I Know the Record Which I Make to Be a Just and a True Record”
Mormon testifies relative to the authenticity of his record. For him to say that his record is “just” is to say that it is right and lawful for him to say that it is “true” is to attest that it is correct, reliable, or trustworthy. Thus his testimony is that the record he has preserved on the gold plates is a reliable account of true and righteous principles.
