Why would the robbers want to "march into the furthermost parts of the land northward" (3 Nephi 4:23)? And where exactly were these "parts"? According to John Sorenson, it seems that the area indicated could be the same area that was the destination of dissident "king" Jacob in 3 Nephi 7.
