Nephi stops in his tracks, turns around on the spot, and immediately begins the task. Even though he has been bound and has undergone judicial questioning, he does not return home even long enough to eat, change his clothing, or reassure his family. He turns around. Immediately. Without hesitation, he sets about his task, even though preaching that very message has recently resulted in his arrest and a threat on his life.
