Zenos, Zenock, and Ezias
The prophet Zenos is mentioned twelve times in the Book of Mormon, Zenock five times, and Ezias once. According to Helaman 8:19–20 it would seem that these men lived somewhere between the time of Abraham (2200 B.C. ) and Jeremiah (626–586B.C. ). Their writings appeared on the brass plates of Laban—the equivalent of, though more extensive than, our present-day Old Testament (up to 600 B.C. ). As with all other true prophets of all dispensations, these men bore witness of Christ.
