We are now down to 23 B.C.and we recall that six years earlier Nephi, the son of Helaman, had become so discouraged with the Nephites in Zarahemla that he and his brother, Lehi, had decided to go up into the land northward where so many of the people had been migrating. It was their hope that they wold be more responsive. After six years, Nephi and probably Lehi return to Zarahemla.
But when Nephi, and probably Lehi with him, returned to Zarahemla, what a terrible shock awaited them.
