“Peace Be Unto You”
The promise given by the voice of the Lord to the people who believed on the words of Lehi and Nephi is the same for all dispensations. Peace to the soul—“not as the world giveth” (John 14:27)—comes as a gift of grace through unshaken faith in Christ’s holy name and through “relying wholly upon the merits of him who is mighty to save” (2 Nephi 31:19).
