According to Helaman 5:21, Nephi and Lehi were cast into "that same prison in which Ammon and his brethren were cast by the servants of Limhi." This "same prison" mentioned in Helaman 5:21 probably refers to the events described back in Mosiah 7:6-8, when Ammon and his brethren were discovered at the gates of the city of Nephi after wandering 40 days in the wilderness, and were cast into prison before being brought before king Limhi to explain their reasons for being there.
