It must have been a relief to Corianton to know that he was not cast off but was still under his missionary calling to preach the gospel. Of course, the big question was whether or not he would respond. We get the answer in Alma 63:1-2 where we learn that with the passing of Helaman, both Shiblon and Corianton were in the front ranks of the Church leadership to carry on.
