“The Word Restoration More Fully Condemneth the Sinner”

Brant Gardner

The doctrine of restoration directly connects our actions and hearts in this life to our reward in the next. For this reason restoration “more fully condemneth the sinner.” The sinner’s actions and heart move him away from God; that darkness of soul means that darkness of soul will be returned to him the next life. Our actions may condemn us, but they may also save us. The choice is ours.

Text: There is no chapter break in the 1830 edition. The discourse to Corianton is not over, even though Alma shifts to a new subject.
