The next interview was with Alma's youngest son, Corianton, and this was undoubtedly as much a tribulation to Alma as it was to this young apostate son who had disgraced his mission and brought ridicule down on his father and all his fellow missionaries. But at least Corianton had come home with his father and had not remained at the beach resort with the Zoramite prostitute.
Of course, the big question for Alma was how he would begin. Apparently all three sons were together during this series of interviews and therefore Corianton had heard the words of commendation which Alma had just given to Shiblon. Therefore Alma chose this as a frame of reference to begin his difficult but tremendously important interview with Corianton. He said:
