In the 1837 edition, the conjunction and was accidentally omitted here in Alma 36:22. This change was not marked by Joseph Smith in the printer’s manuscript, nor is it consistent with Joseph’s editing for the 1837 edition. In addition, the use of yea and is very frequent elsewhere in the text. There is no reason for it to have been deleted here in Alma 36:22.
