The converted Zoramites left their own land and went over to join the people of Ammon, who also used to be Lamanites. The Zoramite leader threatened the Ammonites if they accepted the converted Zoramites. But the people of Ammon paid no attention to these threats. They went right ahead and gave the new converts everything they needed.
