And I heard a great voice, bearing record from heav’n, ’He’s the Saviour, and only begotten of God-By him, of him, and through him, the worlds were all made, Even all that careen in the heavens so broad, ’Whose inhabitants too, from the first to the last, Are sav’d by the very same Saviour of ours; And, of course, are begotten God’s daughters and sons, By the very same truths and the very same pow’rs.’ (Times and Seasons 4:82-83.)
“The Glory of the King”
I will reveal myself from heaven with power and great glory, with all the hosts thereof, and dwell in righteousness with men on earth a thousand years, and the wicked shall not stand, “ the Savior declared (D&C 29:11). Describing the Second Coming, Isaiah said: ”The moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the Lord of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously’ (Isaiah 24:23). It is the destiny of the righteous of all ages, as the Revelator declared, to live and reign “with Christ a thousand years” (Revelation 20:4 see also Revelation 5:10; JST, Revelation 2:26-27).
