Alma and Amulek were a dynamic and unified missionary team, testifying of the Atonement and affirming each other’s witness. Alma prepared his listeners to hear the crowning teachings of Amulek: the deep meaning of Christ’s atoning sacrifice. Those men, plus all the other prophets since the world began, testified “that the word is in Christ unto salvation.” They dedicated their lives to proving Christ (Helaman 8:13–24).
