It is crucial that when we are developing faith that we read the signs of the growth of faith. We should notice that it begins to “taste good.” What we cannot do is decide that this is sufficient. Just as the first shoot is no proof of the mature plant, so too the beginnings of our faith are no proof of the eventual mature faith. We are in a process, and must realize that we must continue to act rather than be pleased with the results of our first small attempts.
