“This Because He Prayed in Faith”
James, the brother of our Lord, knew much of the power of prayer. He wrote: “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering.” (James 1:5-6.) Further: “Pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” (James 5:16.)
